Branch Pick-Up Now Weekly Every Monday
Throughout the spring and summer months, the tree branch chipper is out the first week of each month April through October. We pick up branches that are put in the parkway with the cut-side facing the street.

EMA Volunteers Needed
The Posen Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is seeking volunteers who are interested in serving the community. EMA members meet monthly and regularly train in things such as crowd control, traffic duties, and first aid.
EMA’s role during an emergency such as a tornado or natu- ral disaster is to work with the Police and Fire Departments directing traffic, providing security, and assisting with evacuations and other duties.
Members are viewed as a critical component of the Village Disaster Plan. Interested persons should be 17 years of age or older, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check.

2018 Water Department Rates
Water Bills are sent out every month. The Village attempts to have them sent out by the 10th of each month.
Village of Posen Waste Collection Information
Scavenger service is provided exclusively by Allied Waste Services. Residential refuse will be picked up once a week at the curb or designated alleyways. The maximum size container that can be used is the 96 gallon toter that is supplied through Allied Waste.
Public Works New Equipment
The new trucks will update an aging fleet of vehicles. Purchased were a 2010 Ford F-150 and a 2010 Ford F-250 which will be equipped with a 7 ft. snow plow.
